(*) - While all daub/paste and dust product are easy to conceal. Juice Dust is slightly harder to conceal because you must conceal a 1.5 inch x 1.5 inch Juice Dust packet. The NU-CONcept manuscript discusses various concealment methods.
(**) - Regular Luminous daub or dust is NOT recommended, except for experienced customers. This is because luminous daub and dust products are applied with your finger and it is difficult to avoid white areas of the card. To compensate for this issue, the luminous marks must be made lighter than the luminous marker. Hence, the marks are harder to read.
(***) - daub/paste have the potential to slightly dull the finish of some playing cards. But, this is easy to repair. Daub/dust products will never alter the finish of your cards.
(****) - Luminous and Juice marker, when used as per instructions, will leave the finish of the cards in perfect condition.
If you want to make ad-hoc marked cards, NU-CONcept STRONGLY recommends Juice Dust or N-Dust because it can, and should be, applied to the white portions of the back design. However, you still need to avoid the white borders.
NOTE: If you want to use a luminous daub/dust, to make ad-hoc marked cards, NU-CONcept recommends using the Ultra-Luminous daub/dust product. It is easy to use because it can not be detected on white areas of playing cards. Ultra-Luminous products may also be used on the white borders of playing cards, unlike other luminous products.
Additional differences between the Luminous marker and Ultra-Luminous technology
NU-CONcept is fully aware of the large price difference between Ultra-Luminous Technology and the regular Luminous marker and the Luminous Enhancing Sunglasses. Here is a list of some reasons why....
The Ultra-Luminous sunglasses and the Luminous Enhancing Sunglasses both look good while you are wearing them. However, should you decide to take your sunglasses off or rest them on your forehead or table, people will see that the Luminous Enhancing Sunglasses do not look like normal sunglasses. That is why an un-gimmicked pair of Luminous Enhancing Sunglasses is sold as an option. You can switch the un-gimmicked pair of sunglasses for the filtered pair in your pocket, bathroom or in your lap, etc.
However, the Ultra-Luminous Sunglasses look like a perfectly normal dark pair of sunglasses on OR off your face. Ultra-Luminous Sunglasses can also be made in most designer frames. (Please contact NU-CONcept for frame restrictions and details.)
I can not discuss this on the internet. But, if someone asks to wear your Ultra-Luminous sunglasses they are not likely to see the marks unless they know how to use the sunglasses and know what they are looking for. If this is a concern, NU-CONcept can also advise you on how to mark the cards to avoid detection by people who want to look through your sunglasses.
Ultra-Luminous: Simply write or draw with the marker. But, NU-CONcept generally finds the daub/dust easier and more flexible to use. In addition, with some practice, you can use the daub/dust to make an ad-hoc luminous deck while people are watching (without their knowledge).
Regular Luminous Marker: Marks should be kept on red printed areas of the cards. The regular Luminous daub/paste and regular Luminous daub/dust is hard to use vs. the Ultra-Luminous daub/dust which is very easy to use.
Ultra-Luminous solutions/ink/markers and daub/dust are available to work on paper or plastic cards.
The regular Luminous marker works best on paper cards.
Ultra-Luminous: Marks may be anywhere on the back design of the card (large or small)
Regular Luminous Marker: Marks should be kept on red printed areas of the cards.
I know this may not pertain to customers. But, the cost to manufacture Ultra-Luminous is very high. This is because some military grade/quality ingredients are used and the sunglasses take several hours to make. In addition, a custom optical lab is also used to manufacture the sunglasses in designer frames.
Ultra-Luminous marks can not be read by using the regular luminous filter. So, customers who purchase it have an extra level of added security because only a few select people are willing to spend the money on the technology.
