PRICING: Custom Manufactured "Luminous Enhancing Sunglasses"

Pricing for most custom manufactured "Luminous Enhancing Sunglasses" varies from $199 - $699. On top of the cost of these custom sunglasses, you should add the cost for the basic "Regular Luminous marker" package. This brings the cost to $299 - $799 using this option.

Does it make more sense to order Custom Luminous Enhancing Sunglasses or upgrade to Ultra-Luminous technology ?

Given the high cost of using designer frames and using a professional optical lab to grind the filtered lenses. NU-CONcept suggests that the buyer seriously consider purchasing the Ultra-Luminous Sunglass package for $2,100 of Ultra-Luminous contact lens package for $3,100 because Ultra-Luminous is a much better product which will mark most color back designs, as well as paper AND most plastic playing cards. In addition, you will be able to mark at least 120+ decks of cards with your Ultra-Luminous order vs. about 15 decks of cards for the regular luminous marker. If you do the math, your average cost per deck will be lower with Ultra-Luminous technology.

The "Luminous Enhancing Sunglasses" shown in the photo above are the frames which are included with the $208 Regular Luminous marked package. Luminous marks will always be clearer and easier to read under different lighting conditions when the filter is manufactured into each lens vs. attaching fiilter material behind a pair of regular sunglasses.

Some customers prefer to use designer frames with lenses custom cut, instead of using the standard frames which come with the package (shown above) for the following reasons:

• Some customers are concerned that people may recognize the frames shown on this web site

• Some customers may want the luminous filter to be positioned differently in the sunglasses or may want the filter to cover a larger area of each lens.

• Some customers simply prefer to be seen wearing designer sunglass frames.

Important: Luminous Enhancing Sunglasses use filtered lenses which are designed to work with the "regular Luminous" solution when applied to the red printed areas of red backed paper playing cards (such as Bee, Aviator, Bicycle, etc.)

These lenses will not allow you to see Ultra-Luminous marked cards because the filters, are very different than the filters which is used when manufacturing Ultra-Luminous sunglasses or contact lenses.

Luminous Enhancing Sunglasses may be manufactured using your own Ophthalmic Quality frames (must be Base Curve 8 - wrap around style frames). (**) These custom sunglasses also allow excellent flexibility with regard to the positioning and size of the luminous filter, which is built INTO the lens. (**) - Note: NU-CONcept has subcontracted with a professional lab to place NU-CONcept Luminous Enhancing lenses into professional Ophthalmic Quality frames. Common drug store frames and "knock-off name brand" frames will not withstand the fitting of the NU-CONcept polycarbonate lenses. If you supply NU-CONcept with your own frames, NU-CONcept and the lab cannot be responsible for damage to your frames. The lab will evaluate all customer supplied frames and fit the lenses on a "best effort" basis. However, due to potential hairline structural defects which are not apparent until actual lens mounting occurs, NU-CONcept cannot guarantee results with customer supplied frames. Nor will NU-CONcept be responsible for frame damage during the mounting process. Please be aware that  the lab will take up most care when working with customer supplied frames.

Luminous Enhancing Sunglasses are always easier to use than gimmicking your own sunglasses with luminous filter. Luminous marks appear clearer, under a wider variety of lighting conditions, when viewed through NU-CONcept's patented Luminous Enhancing Sunglasses because the filter is built INTO the lenses vs. placing a luminous filter BEHIND regular sunglasses.
