Here are the exact same 5 cards (see photo below, not above) which you saw on the previous web page with the filter gimmick engaged to read

(Note: While you are wearing your sunglasses engaging the gimmick involves no hand motion. You simply look in the appropriate direction (which cannot be seen by spectators, since you are wearing sunglasses) and the marks magically appear on the backs of the playing cards.)

As you can see only the center card is marked and it is an ACE. The mark is painted on and appears slightly darker than the rest of card.

The mark can be seen only when viewed through the supplied filter.

Since the marks are large, they can easily be seen from across the room or close up (As a matter of fact, the mark is easier to see when the card is across the table (3-4 feet away)).

(Note: if you cannot easily see the letter "A" faintly written in diagonal corners of the card, move your head slightly up or slightly down, left, right or farther away from your computer screen. You may be catching some computer screen glair or the color on your monitor may be off. In real life, with actual cards in your hands, this will not be an issue and the markings will appear slightly darker than the rest of the playing card. The example above uses a single coat of the NU-CON cept Marking Solution which is difficult to photograph. I have posed another example using Bicycle playing cards (below) which uses a second coat of the solution, which makes the marks easier to see.)

Since you control the amount of solution to apply, you can simply place another coat of the NU-CONcept Luminous Marking Solution to make the marks easier to read. As you gain experience only a single coat is required.
